Remember the following when preparing desserts:
Sweets that contain fruits not only have a greater number of nutrients but also have a lower energy content.
Sweets that contain cream, condensed milk, butter or margarine usually contain a higher energy content.
Do not use too much sugar when making sweets or beverages such as coffee, tea, milk and juices. Too much sugar conditions taste buds to a high threshold for sweet tastes.
Strive for the opposite conditioning. Gradually reduce the amount of sugar you use in your preparations.
